This Privacy Policy explains how Reel It collects, uses, stores, shares and protects information when Customers, Reelos and other users use the Reel It app, website and related services.
Reel It is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account or using Reel It, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
Depending on how you use Reel It, we may process name, mobile number, email address, gender where relevant to applicable service preferences, profile photo, account role, authentication identifiers, Reelo onboarding/profile/portfolio information, booking and service details, booking location, session events, messages, reviews, support records, content-delivery information, device/app/security information, payment and refund references, and Reelo earnings/payout references.
Location may be used for booking addresses, proximity-based matching, ETA, service coordination, safety, fraud prevention and dispute support. Permissions depend on the feature and device settings.
Photos, videos, raw footage and edited content may be processed when necessary to perform and deliver a booking. Reel It is not permanent cloud storage. Uploaded booking media is generally retained for up to 72 hours following the applicable delivery/completion process, subject to technical, support, dispute, safety or legal requirements.
Third-party payment providers such as Razorpay process supported payment methods. Reel It may receive order, transaction, amount, status and refund references needed to associate a payment with a booking. Reel It does not intentionally store full card details, UPI PINs or banking passwords. Reelo payout information/references may be processed as necessary to calculate and transfer eligible earnings.
We use information to create and secure accounts; authenticate users; match Customers and Reelos; manage bookings, sessions, payments, refunds, earnings and content delivery; send transactional notifications; provide support; investigate disputes; prevent fraud/abuse; enforce Platform rules; maintain security; comply with legal obligations; and improve Reel It.
Relevant booking/profile information may be shared between the Customer and assigned Reelo where necessary to perform the service. We use service providers including Google Firebase and Razorpay. Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary for law, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or protection of legal rights. Reel It does not sell users' personal information.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access, access controls and secure cloud infrastructure. Different records may have different retention periods. Booking, transaction, payout, fraud, support, audit, tax, accounting or legally required records may be retained where reasonably necessary or required by law.
Users may initiate deletion in the Reel It app under Settings > Delete account or request deletion without the app using our Account & Data Deletion page or by emailing support. Eligible personal data is deleted or de-identified, while limited information may be retained for legal, payment, tax/accounting, fraud prevention, security, active disputes or other legitimate purposes permitted by law.
Reel It may request permissions such as location, camera, photos/media or notifications when needed for a feature. Transactional communications may include OTPs, booking updates, arrival/session notices, delivery updates, payment/refund information, security notices and support messages.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, technology, legal requirements or data practices change. The Last Updated date will be revised.
Privacy and deletion questions may be sent to support@thereelit.com.
